I wake up early with a fresh cup of coffee in hand, then I’m off to the drawing board. Literally.
I have always felt inspired by pattern-lovers who came before me—Ray Eames, Rosita Missoni, Maija Isola of Marimekko to name a few. These women wanted us to see the world in new ways and there is a certain sense of optimism in that.
In every decade, patterns bring joy. No matter the state of the world around us, it’s hard not to feel hopeful when you look at patterns. Maybe that’s why I can’t stop creating them. I design everything from huge neighborhood murals, to teeny tiny children’s clothes. If you want to bring some joy to your products, get in touch and let’s make something beautiful together.
If you are a pattern lover, you are a friend of mine.
